The AIRCARE HD1409 large console evaporative humidifier draws dry air in through the back of the unit, the air is then moisturized as it passes through the saturated evaporative wicks. As air moves through the wick, the water evaporates into the air, leaving behind any white dust, minerals, or dissolved and suspended solids in the wick. Because the water is evaporated, just clean and invisible moist air fanned out and released into the room through the top of the humidifier.

The cool mist HD1409 humidifier has easy-fill dual bottle tanks with a 6 gallon holding capacity and offers up to 55 hours of runtime. It’s simple to operate, the control panel is located in the top of the unit with push button controls for 3 fan speeds and humidity level control. The humidity control will allow you to set the your needs. The unit will cycle on and off as required to meet your settings. Humidity settings will increase in 5% increments to 65%. Once the 65% setting is selected the humidifier will run continuously. The digital display shows desired humidity setting and actual room humidity levels , it also includes indicator lights tell you when it’s time to refill the unit and check filter.
