The AllerTech® Replacement Filter Pack is an inexpensive choice for the Austin Air Healthmate Plus air purifiers (HM450). Compatible with the Austin Air Healthmate Plus replacement filter (FR450). These long-lasting filters remove pollen, dust, mold, tobacco smoke, chemical vapors, gases, viruses, and bacteria. The AllerTech® replacement filters also contain potassium iodide for absorbing formaldehyde, ammonia, and other VOCs. Includes (1) filter, (1) black pre-filter and (1) white pre-filter.

The Austin Air Healthmate Plus air purifier utilizes 4 stages of filtration:

• Large Particle Pre-Filter – Captures and removes larger particles such as dust and hair before it reaches the True HEPA filter, helping to extending the life of your filter
• Medium Particle Pre-Filter – Captures and removes smaller to medium-sized particles such as mold and pollen
• Carbon Blend Filter – Contains 15 lbs. of activated carbon infused with a proprietary blend containing activated carbon and Potassium permanganate specifically designed to trap and remove heavy odors, gases and VOCs
• Medical-Grade HEPA Filter – Constructed of 60 sq. ft. of true HEPA medical-grade material to remove 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns
