Guardian Technologies™ FLT5000 Replacement True HEPA Filter C is a combination filter that replaces the triple-layer filter that comes with the GermGuardian® AC5000 True HEPA Air Cleaning System (including the pre-filter, True HEPA filter, and charcoal/photocatalyst filter). Multi-stage filtration provides clean, fresh air in small to midsize rooms up to 186 sq. ft., such as kitchen, office, den or bedroom. Working in conjunction with the AC5000’s UV-C technology, the combination filter works in a 5-stage germicidal, anti-allergen process to rid air of pollutants, contaminants, objectionable odors, and other irritants that can trigger allergies and asthma, or make you ill. Replace combination filter approximately every 6-8 months.  Box contains one (1) Guardian Technologies™ FLT5000 Multi-Layer Filter C.

• Carbon Filter + Photocatalyst – Activated charcoal absorbs household odors. Photocatalytic titanium dioxide on the filter is activated by the purifier’s UV-C light, providing enhanced odor reduction (such as for tobacco smoke and pet odors), and also preventing the growth or spread of germs, bacteria and mold.
