SideStream Reusable Nebulizer

SideStream Reusable Nebulizer (Respironics HS860, single-patient use), for use with Respironics Compressor Nebulizer Systems (models listed below). The SideStream reusable nebulizer is designed using the Venturi system, which enhances the delivery of medication during inhalation, and shortens treatment times to just 6-7 minutes. Additionally, 80% of the particles in the aerosolized mist are less than 5 microns in size, so more gets to your lungs where you need it, with less waste. SideStream Reusable Nebulizers perform consistently and reliably, and can be used with any commonly prescribed respiratory medication.  Replace every 6 months for best performance.

What Comes with the SideStream Reusable Nebulizer?

• Package contains one (1) Respironics HS860 SideStream Reusable Nebulizer, complete with (light blue) nebulizer handset with medicine cup, reusable angled mouthpiece, and 7-foot Duratube™ tubing.
• Optionally available:
  • SideStream Disposable Nebulizer by Respironics. Provides efficient performance, and can be used in all the same compressor nebulizer systems as the reusable nebulizer, but is more affordably designed. Lasts for up to 2 weeks, very economically priced, and great as a backup or inexpensive travel option (sold separately).
  • SideStream Pediatric Mask by Respironics for young children who cannot hold the nebulizer. The pediatric mask offers a very effective means of delivery, and is recommended for children ages 5 and under. Use with a SideStream Nebulizer.
